Open Street - Dartmouth

After two years of pandemic, I must say I am quite impressed to see how much life this city has. Having moved here during the height of the pandemic, we didn’t know what this city was like pre-restrictions.

Every day it feels like there’s a new event much cooler than the previous one happening. Honestly it’s quite hard to keep up. ( I’m going to have to start marking my calendar!)

There’s a lot happening and to discover and take photographs at the same time. What I love to photograph is the simplicity in life and capture those special moments in the everyday life. Although this might not be what everyday looks like it did offer up a lot of unique moments to capture. The struggle with taking photos everyday is that it often all starts to feel the same so it’s really nice to lean into these special events and attacking them in my reportage way.
